Frequently asked questions
Why is the text no longer selectable?
To shrink the file we turn each page into an image. It still looks the same and portals accept it, but you can’t select or search the text. Keep your original if you need that.
My PDF got bigger!
Text-only PDFs are already small; re-rendering can make them larger. We warn you when that happens; just keep the original.
What if it can’t reach my limit?
You get the smallest version we could make, with a note. Choosing “Black & white” helps. If the portal accepts several files, split the PDF and upload the parts.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. ConvertRight runs entirely in your browser. Your file is processed on your own phone or computer and is never sent to a server.
