How accurate is it?
Clear printed text is usually read well. Handwriting, very small or faded print, and text at an angle may be misread or missed, so check names and numbers.
Which languages can it read?
English, Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Indian languages are read together with English, as most documents mix the two.
How do I get better results?
Photograph the page flat, straight on and in good light, with the text filling the picture. Crop away the background first if you can.
Can it read a scanned PDF?
Use OCR PDF: it reads every page and gives you back a PDF you can search and copy from.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
