Can I start from a number other than 1?

Yes. Type it in “Start at”, for example 5 if these pages follow four others.

What about pages that are turned sideways?

Numbers follow the page as you see it, so a landscape page gets its number at its own bottom edge.

Is my file uploaded anywhere?

No. ConvertRight runs entirely in your browser. Your file is processed on your own phone or computer and is never sent to a server.
