Cut an MP3

Make a ringtone or keep just the part of a song or recording you want. Play it, tap “Set to now” at the start and end, and save it as MP3.

How long should a ringtone be?

Most phones play up to 30 seconds. iPhones need M4R ringtones made in GarageBand or iTunes, but Android phones take MP3 directly.

Does it lose quality?

An MP3 cut from an MP3 is copied as it is where possible. Other formats are encoded to MP3 at high quality.

Is my file uploaded anywhere?
