Add a watermark to a photo
Before you send a photo of your Aadhaar, PAN or passport, write on it who it is for. Also good for marking your own photos.

What should I write on an ID copy?
Who it is for, the purpose and the date, for example “For KYC at XYZ Bank only, 1 Nov 2026”. Use “All over” so it can’t be cropped out.
Can I write in Hindi or another language?
Yes. The text is drawn with your device’s fonts, so every Indian script works.
Does it change the photo size?
No. The photo keeps its size in pixels. It is saved as a high-quality JPG (PNGs with transparency stay PNG).
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
